For my crawfish lover this recipe might be your pot of gold. This is the recipe that Mr. Krabs would never give up.
You’ll need:
- crawfish or crayfish
- diced garlic
- diced onion
- diced cilantro
- habanero
- oyster sauce
- beer
- salt
- black pepper
- sugar
- water
- oil
If you bought frozen crawfish from Walmart I would suggest defrosting them in water before you cook it.
After you defrost the crawfish I would start chopping off the pointy spot on the head with a scissor.
Once you’re done cleaning your crawfish pour three to four table spoons of vegetable oil in a pot.
Let the oil heat up for 10-15 seconds and then add the crawfish in. Alway remember to drain the water out so the oil don’t splash on you!
When the crawfish is in the pot stir it 10 times before you add the diced garlic, cilantro, habanero, and onion.
Now your pretty close to the end!
All you need to add is two big circles of oyster sauce and Corona beer with one circle of water.
Don’t forget to sprinkle two pinches of salt and three to four pinches of sugar, you can always add more if you like it sweeter.
Then it’s the waiting game…wait for 10 to 15 min and serve your plate.
