This dish will include pork.

For the people who are struggling to pronounce the title, I promise the recipe is easier.

This delicious sweet and savory pork will include:

  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • While sugar or rock sugar
  • Green scallion
  • Ginger
  • Soy sauce
  • Cooking wine
  • Oyster sauce
  • Water
  • Pork belly

I would start this recipe by cleaning you pork belly. You’ll clean your pork belly by cutting them down to 1 inches wide and toss it into a pot.

Add two to three cups of water to the pot until it covers the pork and a splash of cooking wine to get ride of the gamy pork taste.

You can disregard the cooking wine if you don’t have it.

Cut up three to four slices of ginger and toss the ginger in the pot with two to three bulb of green scallions.

Turn the heat on high and let every things cook.

Once the water boils strain the pork belly out.

Pour the water in the sink, throw the ginger and green scallions away.

I would make sure that are no liquid in the pot and then add some oil in.

The stove should still be on high at this point so slowly pour two small circles of oil and let it heat up.

Count up to fifteen Mississippi and you can add you pork belly into the oil.

Let the pork crispen up a little before we add our liquid ingredients.

Liquid ingredients:

Two medium circle of soy sauce

One medium circle of oyster sauce

One tablespoon of sugar (can always put less and add more later)

One big circle of water

This is the half way line! 👏👏👏

Once you add the liquid ingredients sprinkle a table spoon of sugar and all you have to do is wait.

Let it cook on medium for 20 minutes.

Cut up some veggies if you want and put them in the pot to cook for a extra eight minutes.

Serve it with so Martinez’s Home Cook Rice and it would be chef’s kiss.
