If I told you there were 5 different ways to make your cup noodle taste better will you continue reading?
Step 1:
Have you heard of sesame oil? One of the best oil that you can put on almost all types of food and strengthen the taste and smell of your food.
If you are allergic to sesame oil I would not suggest you doing this recipe. Make your way to step 2.
Now when you make your cup noodle either in a microwave, stove, or kettle add a little bit of sesame oil after your noodle is cook.
Just a little bit of sesame oil would change the whole taste of the soup.
Step 2:
Add some eggs to your cup noodle.
Usually cup noodle do not bring a lot of protein. By adding an egg or two can be a life changer when your looking for something quick and healthy.
Before you put microwave the cup noodle I would crack the egg on top of the noodle with the soup and then heat it up for a extra 30sec on top of what you normal do.
If you are using a kettle, I would crack the egg in the cup noodle first then slowly pour the hot water on top of the egg to cook it.
The egg is a great way to get a little more protein and it gives the broth a creamier taste.
Fried egg is also recommended if you have time.
Step 3
You can always add you favorite seasoning. There are not rule in the cup noodle handbook that said you can’t add your own seasoning.
If you like it spicy I would recommend a chilly oil call Lao Gan Ma.
If you want the broth to be more flavorful you can aways add some Sazon seasoning in there.
Step 4
This is for the people who are feeling a little more adventurous.
Add a layer of cheese on top of your cup noodle. Especially if you are making spicy cup noodles.
Cheese on top of cup noodle might be a hot topic but it makes the spicy flavor a little less spicy and a bit more smooth.
For the audience who are more adventurous I would love to hear your thoughts on it.
Step 5:
Including veggies can be a good way to enhance the texture and taste of cup noodles. It might not be everyone’s favorite but it is a extra step that you can make your cup noodle taste different from the original.
Maybe including veggies like bak choy or water spinach can be a fun way to introduce new veggies.
